‘Our hearts are broken’ — Msizi & Angel mourn baby Sundae Love

Cape Town – Radio personality Msizi James and his wife Angel have opened up about the heartbreaking stillbirth of their daughter, who died on June 10 at 24 weeks.

The couple, who had announced their second pregnancy in May, shared their grief in a joint Instagram post, expressing the deep sorrow of losing both their daughter and the future they had envisioned for her.

They named her Sundae Love and asked for privacy as they mourn.

“It is with the heaviest, most broken hearts that we share the devastating news that our precious baby girl has passed away on 10 June 2025 at 24 weeks. There are no words to describe the emptiness she has left behind.

“We are grieving not only the loss of her beautiful life but also the life we imagined together – every milestone, watching her and Linc grow up side by side and every moment we’ll never get to share.

“Sundae Love is now in God’s loving hands. We kindly ask for privacy as we navigate this unimaginable grief, and we thank everyone for keeping us in their thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking time.”

Msizi and Angel have been together for 13 years and married for three.
They welcomed their first child, Lincoln, in December 2023, according to reports.
