Cape Town – Miss South Africa 2025 finalist Bridgette Jones has been accused of bullying by TikTok creator and pageant organiser Kayla Jenecker, sparking heated debate online and raising questions about the integrity of the competition.
According to The South African, Jenecker took to TikTok claiming that Jones and others created a hostile environment in their former workplace.
She alleged that Jones mocked her makeup and shoes, excluded her from group chats, and isolated her during meal breaks. Jenecker further claimed that she reported the treatment to management and that a disciplinary matter was underway, adding that some of her posts were later removed by order of the company’s CEO.

Jenecker said the experience negatively affected her mental health and insisted that her decision to speak out was not motivated by clout. “It’s not about fame, it’s about telling the truth,” she explained, stressing that she felt compelled to speak after Jones was announced as one of the Top 10 finalists for Miss SA.
Jones, however, has rejected the accusations outright. In a statement carried by IOL, she described the claims as “completely untrue” and clarified that she had resigned from the company before any alleged disciplinary hearing took place. She added that the ongoing commentary around the matter was distressing, saying it was tarnishing her reputation at a pivotal point in her career.
The Miss South Africa Organisation has also weighed in, stating that while the allegations are serious, the competition follows strict codes of conduct. As stated by the organisers, all contestants are expected to “act with respect, integrity and accountability,” and any complaints are addressed through formal processes.
At this stage, no official investigation outcome has been made public. While Jones continues in the running for the Miss SA crown, the controversy has stirred conversations online about bullying, accountability, and the image of public figures.
