Cape Town – Khuli Chana and Lamiez Holworthy-Morule marked a new chapter in their love story with a three-day wedding celebration in North West, held from Friday 10 April to Sunday 12 April.
The festivities honoured both their traditional and white wedding ceremonies.
The couple had already been legally married in 2022, when they signed their marriage certificate, according to The South African.
Their journey began in 2018, followed by lobola negotiations in 2019, and their official union in 2022, the report said.
The recent celebrations brought their love story full circle.
Taking to social media, Lamiez shared a heartfelt tribute to her husband, writing: “Oh Mr Morule, the father of my children, my partner. Thank you for giving me the wedding of my dreams.”
She added: “I thank you for this praise Mr Morule, I’m a shadow with a soft tongue. Fear him, in the place of Madiba.”
The multi-day celebration blended tradition with modern elegance, with moments of joy, culture and family at its heart.
