Cape Town – Siya Kolisi has shared his pride after his younger brother, Liyema Kolisi, received his first car, celebrating the moment in an emotional social media post.
The Springbok captain reflected on their upbringing and paid tribute to their late mother, expressing gratitude for how far their family has come.
“Mama jonga abantwana bakho”, Siya wrote in the post, which translates to “Mom, look at your children”.
He included a picture with the caption, “God blesses us to bless others,” hinting that the Suzuki Jimny may have been a gift for his younger brother.
Siya and his former wife Rachel, adopted Liyema and their sister in 2014 after they were placed in foster care following their mother’s death, IOL reported.
The post attracted widespread praise from fans, who congratulated Liyema and commended Siya for his strong commitment to family.
