Cape Town – DJ Zinhle is celebrating her daughter Kairo Forbes’ latest achievement after she was named Junior Model of the Year 2026 and Junior Judges’ Choice Overall at the Ace Models graduation event.
Kairo, daughter of the late rapper AKA, shared her excitement on Instagram, thanking supporters and celebrating her performance on the runway.
“Modelling turned out to be so much more than just walking and posing… It’s where I’m learning to be brave and more confident. It teaches us discipline, responsibility, teamwork, kindness and how to support each other. It’s a safe space where I can grow into who I am, at my own pace and show up like I mean it … and own it. ,” she captioned the post,” she wrote.

Her mother and fans praised her in the comments, marking another milestone in her growing modelling career.
At just 10 years old, Kairo is already an award-winning young influencer, having previously won Social Media Kid Influencer of the Year in 2023 and a Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award in 2024.
