The guest list included music legends Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Maskandi star Ihashi Elimhlophe, who attended with his wife, Linah “Ebony” Ngcobo. Gospel singer and television presenter Khaya Mthethwa, as well as actress Sana Mchunu, were also among those in attendance.
Guests embraced the all-black dress code, while Malope stood out in a striking white-and-gold ombré ball gown that she designed and made herself.
The award-winning singer revealed that she had always wanted to wear one of her own creations for the special occasion. She worked tirelessly to complete the gown, spending the night finishing it, and was delighted with the final result.
