Suspects sought after burglars target KZN home twice in two days

Upon arrival, reaction officers discovered a hole in the veranda ceiling, indicating that the suspects had gained entry by cutting through the roof.

After contacting the homeowner, first responders entered the property and found that all the copper piping installed in the ceiling had been removed before the suspects fled the scene.

The resident told officers that the property had also been targeted the previous day, when copper piping was allegedly stolen from the exterior of the house.

No arrests have been made, and the suspects remain at large.

The value of the stolen copper has not been disclosed, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the incidents.

The back-to-back burglaries highlight the ongoing problem of copper theft, which has become a persistent concern for homeowners and businesses in parts of KwaZulu-Natal and across South Africa.
