Her academic success was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from supporters, many of whom have followed her journey on television and social media.
Earlier this year, Vuyokazi reflected on her educational journey during an interview with BabyYumYum, where she spoke about her decision to study Corrections Management.
She explained that the qualification focuses on the rehabilitation of offenders, helping them reintegrate into society as productive citizens.
“I started in 2020 and studied Corrections Management, which focuses on the rehabilitation of offenders. It falls under the law department and involves working in juvenile prisons, rehabilitating young offenders, keeping track of their progress and making sure that when they are released, they do not return to committing crimes.”

Vuyokazi revealed that her upbringing played a significant role in shaping her career choice.
Speaking about what inspired her studies, she said she wanted to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people who, like many she grew up with, faced difficult circumstances.
“It’s because of the environment I grew up in. As a girl from a township, I saw many children growing up in broken homes, dropping out of school, getting into trouble and becoming involved in crime and drugs. I didn’t like seeing that, so I decided I wanted to help them get off the streets and see that there is always something better to do. This course includes elements of social work and has a lot to offer.”
