Cape Town – Marise Pollard, wife of Springbok star Handré Pollard, has opened up about her deeply personal struggle with infertility and her journey through in vitro fertilisation (IVF).
The brunette beauty shared her story on her new community platform, the Mom Era Club, offering an honest look into the emotional road that ultimately led her to motherhood.
Marise and Handré are now proud parents to two children, son Hunter and daughter Isabella.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Marise shared never-before-seen photographs and video clips documenting her path to becoming a mother, including difficult moments from her infertility journey and IVF treatment.
One emotional clip shows Marise injecting herself with hormones in an effort to conceive, while Handré stood by her side, offering unwavering support throughout the process.
Reflecting on the experience, Marise wrote: “A journey that looked very different to what we imagined. For a long time, this part of our story felt too personal to share. But now I realise that many people are walking this road silently. Trying to conceive, grieving miscarriages, longing to become parents and feeling so alone in it all
