Cape Town – Team South has taken an early lead at the 2026 Guardrisk North vs South padel tournament currently underway in Camps Bay, Cape Town.
At the close of Friday’s matches, Team South was leading Team North 8–4, with the final game of the day still in progress.
The three-day tournament, regarded as one of South Africa’s premier team padel events, has brought together some of the country’s top players for a high-intensity showdown at The Rotunda and The Bay Hotel.

Team South is captained by Paul Waldburger, while Team North is led by Paul Anderson.
Among the players in action on Friday were Shaun Legas, Keagan Rooy, Kyle Olivier and Philip Franken.
