Cape Town – The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned that cold, wet and windy conditions will affect most parts of the country from Friday to Monday, starting in the Western and Northern Cape before spreading to central and eastern regions, including Gauteng.

The public is advised to take precautions such as dressing warmly, using heating safely, avoiding unnecessary travel during heavy rain, securing loose outdoor items, and staying away from the coast during rough sea conditions.
