KuGompo City – EFF leader Julius Malema is set to learn his fate as the KuGompo Magistrate’s Court delivers judgment in his firearm discharge case on Thursday.
The case stems from a 2018 EFF rally.
The state is pushing for a prison sentence, arguing Malema showed no remorse after firing shots in a crowd of over 20,000 people, while the defence is seeking a non-custodial penalty.

Thousands of Economic Freedom Fighters supporters have gathered in KuGompo in support, with Malema urging them to remain calm and avoid any disruptions as they await the ruling.
