KuGompo City – Sentencing in Julius Malema’s firearm discharge case has been postponed to Thursday after Magistrate Twanet Olivier said she needs more time to consider new information.
Malema appeared in a packed KuGompo City (formerly East London court where his legal team, led by Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, presented arguments and requested immediate sentencing, but the court declined.

The state is seeking a 15-year prison sentence.
