Johannesburg – The case against two men accused of murdering media personality Warrick Stock, known as DJ Warras, has been postponed to 27 May in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
Armindo Pacula, alleged to have pulled the trigger, and Victor Majola, accused of orchestrating the hit, both face charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder, according to SABC News.
Pacula also faces an additional charge related to his immigration status.
The pair were arrested in February following Stock’s killing in December last year.
In court, the State said investigations are still ongoing, with key evidence outstanding. Prosecutors are awaiting financial records from the accused, as well as cellphone data and facial comparison analysis.
“The financial information in respect of the accused is still outstanding, the information in respect of call data and downloading of cell phone data,” the State said, according to EWN, adding that officials are also still finalising the indictment
The matter is being prepared for transfer to the High Court for trial. Both accused remain in custody and will return to court on 27 May.
