Cape Town – The Democratic Alliance (DA) leader, John Steenhuisen, is scheduled to address members of the media on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, at 10:00 at the Riverside Hotel in eThekwini.
According to the DA, the address will cover “matters of national importance and public interest”.
In a statement, DA emphasised the need for accredited journalists to attend in person.
“Until you see me outlining the full set of facts tomorrow, avoid speculation,” Steenhuisen said.
The statement provided no further details about the topics Steenhuisen will discuss and did not confirm any decisions regarding party leadership or internal elections.
“We will provide all the necessary information during the press conference,” the DA’s said.
