Johannesburg – The murder case of media personality Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock has been postponed to 9 February after the first court appearance of 25-year-old Mozambican national Armando Joaquin Pacula.
Pacula, believed to be the gunman, was arrested on 30 January in Germiston and faces charges of premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit murder and contravening the Immigration Act.
The state has indicated it will oppose bail, arguing that Pacula is allegedly in South Africa unlawfully and that his immigration status and address still need verification.

While the defence has signalled its intention to apply for bail, Pacula remains in custody.

The state believes he was attacked by three suspects and that the killing may be linked to a dispute at Zambezi Flats, where Stock’s security company had been appointed to install a biometric access system.
