Johannesburg – South African music star Makhadzi (real name Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona) was involved in a car accident while travelling from Limpopo to Johannesburg on the morning of 31 December 2025.
Her management confirmed that she is hospitalised, in stable condition, and receiving medical care, with her recovery being the top priority.
They have asked for privacy and said updates will be shared through official channels.

“She is currently receiving medical care and remains in hospital, where her condition is stable and under close observation by medical professionals. The priority at this time is her recovery and well-being,” her management company said.
Makhadzi is a multi-award-winning artist known for her strong connection with fans and numerous SAMA wins.
She recently returned to Thohoyandou, where her career began, to launch her One Woman Show.
