Johannesburg – Suspect Victor Mthethwa Majola appeared in court on Wednesday, as investigations into the murder of Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras continue, with police still searching for at least one more suspect.
Authorities say CCTV footage from the scene shows three individuals approaching Warrick Stock shortly before the shooting.

Police are also probing whether the killing is linked to Stock’s work in the private security industry, where he was reportedly involved in inner-city building operations and had received threats in the weeks before his death.
Majola’s court appearance came a day after Stock was laid to rest at a funeral attended by family, friends and colleagues.

The case has been postponed to 6 January 2026, and Majola is expected to apply for bail, which the State opposes.
