Cape Town – President Cyril Ramaphosa has received the interim report from the Madlanga Commission, which is investigating alleged criminality, political interference, and corruption in South Africa’s criminal justice system.
The President expressed appreciation for the report and expects the commission to refer any suspected criminal actions for prosecution.
“President Ramaphosa will study the interim report while the Commission, which is in recess, prepares to hear further testimony from new witnesses or persons who have previously testified,” the presidency said in a statement.
