Limpopo – Members of the Mopani Tracking Team and Bolobedu Detectives have arrested two men in connection with a business robbery that occurred in October 2025 at Bolobedu policing area in Limpopo.
The suspects allegedly stole a trailer fitted with a generator valued at R270,000 from a construction site in Jamela village.
The trailer and generator, belonging to a construction company, were towed away using a white Isuzu bakkie by five unknown men.
“The trailer and generator valued at R270,000 belonged to a construction company and were later recovered at Malamulele policing area,” police reported.
On Tuesday, 9 December 2025, police acted on information about the suspects’ hideout in Malamulele. They arrested a 37-year-old man at his residence and seized the white Isuzu KB bakkie used in the robbery.
Shortly after, another 37-year-old male suspect was arrested near Malamulele Central Business District at his rental home.
The two men are expected to appear in the Bolobedu Magistrate court on Thursday, 11 December 2025, facing business robbery charges. Police investigations are ongoing to establish the full extent of the robbery and any further suspects involved.
