Cape Town – A Cape Town pensioner has won over R13 million in the November 19, 2025 Powerball Plus jackpot after buying a R70 manually-selected ticket in Bergvliet.
The married father, who usually plays using family birthdates, says the win is life-changing.
“Now I’m a multi-millionaire,” he said.
He added: “I often win small amounts, but I’ve never won such a significant amount; it’s truly life-changing.”
He plans to invest responsibly for retirement, buy a car, and spoil his wife.
“As a pensioner, I’m planning to be responsible with my winnings, investing them wisely to secure our retirement, but I also can’t wait to spoil my wife with a bit of shopping.”
Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza congratulated him on becoming a new multi-millionaire.
