Cape Town – DJ Zinhle has broken her silence after Seemah, co-host of the podcast Spreading Humours, publicly referred to Zinhle’s husband, Mörda (Bongani Mohosana), as a “dog”.
The incident occurred during a recent episode of the podcast when Seemah, commenting on widespread cheating allegations against Mörda, said: “You look at him and you think Zinhle won kanti yinja (he’s a dog).”
In response, Zinhle posted a video on TikTok saying she had been trying to ignore negative social-media commentary but that nothing hit her harder than someone she knew personally calling her husband a “dog”.
She said that she has in fact bought from Seemah’s business and exchanged messages with her, so the public remark was especially hurtful.

Zinhle also reminded her followers of an earlier video in which she had stated: “I don’t want to fight. I don’t want conflict. I don’t want to explain myself. I just want an easy life.”
That clip, posted in October and referenced again now, was not explicitly a response to the cheating rumours but spoke broadly about her choosing peace over reacting.
The cheating allegations against Mörda were first raised by blogger Musa Khawula, claiming he was involved with a 22-year-old woman named Kimberly who works at a Johannesburg club.
Zinhle apologised to her supporters for how her first reaction to recent events had been “something negative”, saying she doesn’t take their support for granted and that they deserve her attention.

Zinhle and her husband Mörda shared an AI-created video of Musa Khawula singing along to DJ Zinhle’s song titled “Sorry”.
The caption of the post read “Apology accepted”.
