Durban – A clip of retired police minister Bheki Cele at a DJ Shimza event in Durban has gone viral.
The 73-year-old and his wife, Thembeka Ngcobo, were seen enjoying the performance in a VIP area, with Cele wearing his signature fedora and dancing with his wife.
In the video, Bheki, sporting his well-known fedora, is seated on a couch, sipping a drink. Around him, presumably in a VIP area, bottles of chilled beverages are on display.

At one moment, the former minister gestures to a young woman, asking her to step aside.
Since retiring, Cele has embraced a quieter, healthier lifestyle, spending much of his time at the gym and following a strict diet, avoiding indulgent foods like scones.
He has described this new routine as a way to unwind after his stressful tenure as police minister.
