Cape Town – TV and radio personality Pabi Moloi has clapped back at false claims about her death, saying she’s alive, well, and living her best life.
The star was left shocked after seeing her name trending with “RIP” messages circulating on social media this week. Instead of ignoring the noise, Pabi hit record and addressed the rumours head-on.
“I thought everything weird that could happen to me has already happened to me,” she said in the video, looking amused. “I mean, that is weird. A lot of weird things have happened to me, but this might be the weirdest. Guys, I’m alive. I’m very much alive.”

Pabi shook her head and laughed, “I literally saw someone say RIP. Can you believe that? I’m still here, living my best life!” She even added in the caption: “The rumours of my death are greatly exaggerated. 20 October 2025.”
The clip immediately sparked conversation online. Some fans expressed relief, while others couldn’t believe how easily false news spreads.
One user commented, “We almost started crying, Pabi. People must stop this nonsense.” Another wrote, “If people pronounce you dead while you’re still alive, it means you’re going to live longer, my sister!”
Others joked about how calm she looked in the video, with one saying, “You’re too chilled for someone who just ‘died’ on the internet.”
Not everyone took it lightly, though. A concerned follower added, “Please tell us you’re okay, Pabi. People are cruel to make up things like that.”
