Cape Town – A Dudula-aligned activist has sparked outrage after a video surfaced showing her calling for the deportation of Zimbabwean-born public figures working in South Africa’s entertainment and media industries.
The activist, identified as Victoria Africa, who serves as the deputy secretary of the Patriotic Alliance Women’s League, is seen in the clip demanding that Zimbabwean artists and broadcasters “go back home” — comments widely condemned as xenophobic and divisive.
“We don’t want foreigners to represent us or speak for us. We want them gone,” she said in the video, which has circulated widely on social media.
Africa went on to question veteran broadcaster Peter Ndoro’s continued presence on South African television, asking:
“Who said we cannot present our own shows? Who said we lack such a skill?”

In the same clip, she mocked Zimbabwe’s entertainment industry, claiming that South Africans were being overshadowed by foreigners.
“Zimbabweans don’t even have celebrities because all their people are in South Africa. Their musicians, like Nadia Nakai, must go back to their country and represent their Zimbabwean people,” she added.
In the video, Africa specifically names musicians Nadia Nakai, ShaSha, and TV host Peter Ndoro, insisting they should leave South Africa.
Her remarks have drawn widespread condemnation, with social media users accusing her of promoting xenophobia and division. Many described her statements as “dangerous” and “irresponsible,” warning that such rhetoric fuels hostility toward other African nationals living and working in South Africa.
As of now, neither Victoria Africa nor the Patriotic Alliance has issued an official statement responding to the backlash.
