Cape Town – The parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee investigating allegations by KZN Police Commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi will resume hearings on Tuesday.
Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, currently on special leave, will continue his testimony, defending his decision to disband the Political Killings Task Team in December last year.
Mchunu maintains the move was lawful and made with President Cyril Ramaphosa’s approval.
Once evidence leaders conclude their questioning, MPs will have the opportunity to cross-examine him.
