Johannesburg – South African activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla have safely returned to OR Tambo International Airport after being detained by Israeli forces en route to Gaza, where they intended to deliver humanitarian aid and challenge the blockade.
Families welcomed them home, expressing relief that no one was harmed.
