Cape Town – Radio host and podcaster Sol Phenduka has been suspended from Kaya 959, where he began working on July 1, 2022.
In a brief statement, Kaya 959, confirmed on the 20th of August that the presenter has been suspended with immediate effect.
“Kaya 959 confirms that presenter Sol Phenduka has been placed on suspension with immediate effect. This step has been taken pending the outcome of an internal process currently underway,” read the statement .

The radio station said that an internal process is underway and assured that the matter is being handled fairly and sensitively.
While details remain scarce, the station confirmed the suspension and promised to keep the public informed of any developments as the process continues
“Our focus remains on maintaining stability across the station and continuing to deliver the highest quality of programming for our listeners,” concluded Kaya 959.
