Cape Town – The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party, led by Jacob Zuma, held a media briefing in Sandton to share updates from its latest National Officials meeting.
MK Party chairperson Nathi Nhleko criticised the Government of National Unity (GNU), calling it a “so-called GNU” and accusing it of failing to tackle South Africa’s growing unemployment crisis.
In a major development, the MK Party also announced the termination of membership of its former Secretary General, Floyd Shivambu.
Shivambu has previously hinted at launching his own political party and has been actively involved in consultations through his Mayibuye initiative to explore its potential direction.
