Johannesburg – Johannesburg mayor Dada Morero has reshuffled his mayoral committee.
Loyiso Masuku has been appointed as the new finance MMC, moving from shared services, filling the vacancy left by Margaret Arnorld, who became Speaker of council in July.
Sthembiso Zungu, the council whip, will replace Masuku in shared services.

Despite months of anticipation, the mayor’s statement did not address the transport portfolio, which remains vacant after Kenny Kunene resigned amid criminal allegations.
The Patriotic Alliance wants Liam Jacobs to fill the transport MMC role.
Morero said the changes, effective immediately, aim to bring stability to the city.
