Cape Town – President Cyril Ramaphosa has extended his congratulations to veteran actress Leleti Khumalo and acclaimed producer Anant Singh after their poignant short film Don’t Give Up received the Golden Nymph Award at the 64th Monte‑Carlo Television Festival in Monaco.
While returning from the G7 Summit in Canada, the pair crossed paths at OR Tambo International Airport, where Khumalo proudly shared news of their prestigious win with the President.
In a heartfelt post on X, Ramaphosa applauded their success: “I congratulate Leleti Khumalo and Anant Singh for flying our flag and for spotlighting one of our nation’s socioeconomic challenges”.
