Cape Town – Police in Cape Town are pursuing suspects involved in a mass shooting at the Mfuleni taxi rank on Friday morning.
Four taxi operators were killed, and three others — including a commuter — were injured.
Two gunmen are believed to be responsible.
A R100,000 reward is offered for information.
According to EWN, the attack began with the shooting of two operators in a car, followed by a deadly shooting inside an office.
Authorities suspect the motive is linked to taxi route disputes.

“Here, we’ve been monitoring the routes as well as Somerset. However, when the matter is planned and takes place as this one early in the morning, unfortunately, we managed to miss this one,” the report quoted Deputy provincial police commissioner for crime detection, Bongani Maqhashalala as saying.
According to IOL, police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa said the incident occurred at around 6am at the old taxi rank, where two unidentified gunmen opened fire, shooting seven individuals before fleeing the scene.

“Of the seven victims, one injured is believed to be a commuter,” said Potelwa.
