Cape Town – The families of the two babies abducted from Dora Nginza Hospital in Gqeberha are still searching for answers after a traumatic ordeal.
Although the infants were safely returned a day later, their families remain deeply distressed, SABC News reported.
Phumela Stofile, the aunt of one of the babies, expressed frustration over the lack of communication from hospital staff — not only about the abduction but also regarding her nephew’s injuries.

“The mother told us that the child’s arm had been sprained during the delivery, but the nurses told her not to worry, the child would be fine. All to find out later that the child’s arm is actually broken. Nobody has explained to us how that really happened, and that’s what we want answers for. How did that happen when the child was delivered through a C-section? We were told that the child has small bones, but we just don’t understand that at all. We want answers,” the report quoted Stofile as saying.
