Cape Town – President Cyril Ramaphosa has left South Africa for Washington, DC, where he is set to meet US President Donald Trump in a crucial bilateral engagement on Wednesday.
The visit aims to reset strategic relations between South Africa and the US, and to encourage greater US engagement within the G20.
Key topics expected to be discussed include trade, tariffs, and global geopolitical issues such as Ukraine and Gaza.
