Despite tensions in US – South Africa relations — stemming from false claims of a white genocide and the Expropriation Bill—Ntshavheni maintained the relationship remains mutually beneficial.
She also criticised the Trump administration’s acceptance of Afrikaners as refugees, calling their claims of persecution unfounded, and reiterated that South Africa would not be bullied or disrespected in global forums.
