Cape Town – Despite recovering from a bout of flu, President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Thursday night.
Ramaphosa appeared under the weather during his interaction with the youth in Cape Town on Tuesday afternoon, reports said.
Vincent Magwenya, the spokesperson for the presidency, confirmed that the president had the flu bug.

According to EWN, in the 30th year of South Africa’s democracy, Ramaphosa’s speech is anticipated to highlight key themes, including reflections on government achievements and an invitation for inclusive societal and economic growth.
Ramaphosa, previously the chair of the Constitutional Assembly, will emphasise the commitment of the president and Cabinet to serve the nation energetically until the end of the term, the report said.
